Description
Our watertight industrial family, MULTI G2, consists of four different models: MIL G2, MIR G2, MIX G2 and MAX G2.
MIR G2 is a high quality industrial long life luminaire. Developed for areas with temperatures from -25ºC to +45ºC. The luminaire has a wide variety of installation options, minimal maintenance and excellent overall economy.
The luminaire housing is manufactured in acid-proof stainless steel or aluminium/zinc treated steel with a white epoxy/polyester powder-coated finish. Alternatively, it’s available in unpainted acid-proof steel. It’s supplied with a diffuser in self-extinguishing (V0) and impact-proof frosted polycarbonate or modified impact-resistant frosted acrylic with a one-piece silicone-free gasket and clips in acid-proof steel.
MIR G2 has a hinged gear tray with quick connector to facilitate maintenance.
It can be delivered with emergency lighting systems with an internal battery or an external battery box.

Body material and colour
- Housing in aluminium/zinc treated steel or acid-proof steel with white epoxy/polyester powder coated finish. Alternatively in unpainted acid-proof steel. The diffuser is made of impact-proof frosted polycarbonate (FR/PC) or modified impact resistant frosted acrylic (FR/KEM) with a one-piece silicone-free gasket and clips in acid-proof steel.
Mounting
- The luminaire is supplied with fixed end brackets, triangle suspension or 2 x M8 hood nuts. Bracket for horizontal wire and revolvable bracket to be mounted on the fixed end bracket. M8 rod -, tube -, pole -, cable bridge -, side - and vibration suspension to be mounted through the M8 hood nut. M8 hood nuts with flexible CC and other special suspensions on request.

Connection
- 5 pole 6 mm² screw terminal block.
Variants with 5 x 2.5 mm² through wiring.

Emergency system
- Can be supplied with emergency lighting systems (Standard, Self Test , DALI addressable Wireless Radio Self Test) with internal battery or external battery box.
Some emergency variants are also marine approved (M).

Integrated sensors
- This product is available with an industrial PIR sensor for wireless communication type CHW-SEN. CHW-SEN is a part of Glamox wireless system for central monitoring.
