Did you know that fluorescent light sources will be phased out in 2023?

Fluorescent lighting is about to become a thing of the past due to the RoHS directive. While some compact fluorescent tubes will be phased out in February 2023, today’s versions of the widely used T8 and T5 lights and sources, will soon also become obsolete by August 2023. Upgrading existing lighting installations with LED luminaires and smart lighting controls can reduce energy consumption by as much as 90%. The considerably longer lifetime of LED luminaires also translates to less waste and pollution.
