The International School of Krakow was established in 1993 in Kraków. The school is a member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association and competes with schools across Central and Eastern Europe. It holds accreditation from both the Council of International Schools and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

In 2006, the school relocated to a new campus in Lusina, which was made possible thanks to financial support from the United States Embassy in Poland.

The school is located on a gated 1.25-hectare campus in the suburbs of Lusina, about 20 minutes from Kraków’s city centre. The grounds include park benches, basketball courts, and a soccer field. The facilities also house a library, a multi-purpose hall, a sports facility, a dining hall, and a computer lab.

Modern luminaires from the MODERNA family were installed in the classrooms, ensuring outstanding light uniformity and eliminating glare to create a comfortable and conducive learning atmosphere. The entire campus was further enhanced with efficient linear fixtures and contemporary downlights. Reliable emergency lighting safeguards the premises, ensuring a high standard of safety throughout.
