The school enjoys a unique location in the heart of the town, surrounded by the local green oasis. With three floors and entrances on all sides, the building has an inviting appearance that welcomes both students and citizens inside.
Sustainability was a key focus in the construction process, with the project aligning with the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. This includes goals related to health and well-being, sustainable energy, and quality education.
A healthy indoor climate was achieved through bright, airy rooms with good acoustics, while the energy supply is covered by district heating and solar panels.
One of the project requirements was that the lighting fixtures had to be compatible with Troldtekt ceilings. We therefore selected luminaires specifically suited for this purpose.
Our C95 luminaire was used as the school’s primary lighting solution. It is characterised by a clean and minimalist design that integrates seamlessly with the building’s architecture. D35 and D70 were installed in common areas and the school library, while D70 was also used in the restrooms and changing rooms.
