Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a practical and detail-oriented engineer with experience in EMC testing of electrical or electronic products. The ideal candidate has a hands-on approach, understands laboratory measurements, can prepare reliable test setups and is able to interpret test results.
Experience with lighting products, LED drivers, electronic control gear, wireless communication modules or marine equipment will be a strong advantage. The candidate should be comfortable working in a laboratory environment and cooperating with engineering, compliance and certification teams.
Your responsibilities
- Planning, performing and documenting EMC/RED tests for lighting products, including standard, industrial, emergency and marine lighting solutions.
- Preparing test setups, test plans and test reports according to applicable standards and internal procedures.
- Performing EMC measurements and immunity tests, including conducted and radiated emissions, ESD, surge, EFT/burst, voltage dips and interruptions, harmonics and flicker.
- Supporting basic radio / RED-related pre-compliance testing for products equipped with wireless communication modules.
- Analysing test results and supporting troubleshooting of EMC issues.
- Taking an active part in product certification processes.
- Cooperating with R&D, compliance teams, certification teams and external laboratories.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment, measurement setups, calibration status and technical documentation.
- Supporting continuous improvement of laboratory procedures and test methods.
Our requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Automation or a related technical field.
- Preferably 2–3 years of experience in EMC testing, product testing, electronics validation or laboratory work.
- Practical knowledge of EMC testing and measurement techniques.
- Technical understanding of electrical and electronic products.
- Ability to prepare and document reliable test setups, analyse results and support troubleshooting.
- Experience with standards such as EN IEC 55015, EN 61547, EN IEC 61000-3-2, EN IEC 61000-3-3 and IEC/EN 61000-4 series will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of lighting products, LED drivers, marine requirements, RED/radio-related testing or ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory environment will be a plus.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently according to laboratory procedures.
