Brief
Next is one of the UK’s largest and best-known retail brands. With such a large property portfolio, sustainability is high on the agenda for its more than 500 stores. Working with Next’s leadership team, we were asked to help the retailer achieve a 35% reduction in its electricity consumption.
Solution
Despite a complex brief, our team of designers identified an opportunity to upgrade Next’s lighting system to the latest LED technology. Working with an LED module created specifically with high CRI and lumen maintenance in mind, we developed a range of futureproof luminaires to brighten Next’s customer experience.
Result
With a new adaptable system, Next were able to create the perfect retail environment for their customers whilst delivering an immediate 40 per cent improvement on their energy performance. Thanks to our lighting engineers futurescoping from the start, the retailer is also well set for the next generation of lighting technology.
