Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Marl performance and product into the wider Glamox group, working within the Defence and Security team to deliver systems to wide customer base.
- Work with the new Glamox MoW Defence and Security team to deliver annual sales targets.
- Support Glamox entry to Navy newbuild work globally and focus on Marl product with the portfolio.
- Identify and support US market entry and mechanisms to access the US Naval market.
- Maintain relationship with Pearson to allow us to maximise opportunities within this key relationship.
- Introduction of new products as a result of market research carried out with the UK user base and MoD.
- Ensure accuracy of Sales Price for Defence and Security customer base.
- Manage the Marl offering back into the Glamox group to bring additional group production into the Marl facility.
- Actively sell and promote the existing product and services MARL can offer to both new and existing customers
- Ensure product awareness and full technical support given to potential and existing customers and distributors
- Undertake customer visits
- Organise exhibitions and trade show presence to gain knowledge of the marketplace and generate new customer leads or product ideas
- Support all customers within my sector on a daily basis with a view to growing the account year on year
- Define, forecast and manage allocated budget for the year
- Manage sales forecast for customer accounts and provide forecast modelling to Marl and Glamox MoW group
- Support other sales team members as and when required
- Meet and exceed annual targets set by the commercial director
- Work closely with design team to get accurate costings for new projects and provide competitive quotes to the customer
- Creation of blog posts and PR for both MARL and joint advertising with our Customers
- Identify appropriate marketing activity for the Defence and Security sector, liaising with the Glamox marketing team as required
