Key Responsibilities:
- Quotation Preparation: Generate accurate and timely quotations in response to customer enquiries, project needs, and technical documentation.

Specification Interpretation: Read and understand technical specifications relating to lighting systems and ensure correct product selections.

Product Solutions: Recommend alternative products or configurations where appropriate to meet customer requirements, timelines, or budgets.

Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a vital link between the sales team, engineering, product management, logistics, and clients to ensure smooth communication and successful outcomes.

Accuracy & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all quotations, project details, and customer correspondence using CRM and ERP systems.

Enquiry Clarification: Ask relevant questions to clarify requirements and avoid errors, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.

Learning & Development: Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of Glamox’s product range, systems, and industry practices.

Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving workflows and enhancing customer experience and internal efficiency.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent English and Maths GCSE grade C or above/equivalent
Personal Attributes:

Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, or customer service—ideally within a technical, electrical, or manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM/ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous

Organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn quickly
