Pre Sales Coordinator

We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Internal Sales Support Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This pivotal role supports the sales process by preparing accurate quotations, interpreting technical specifications, suggesting suitable product alternatives, and acting as a key point of contact between internal departments and external clients. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quotation Preparation: Generate accurate and timely quotations in response to customer enquiries, project needs, and technical documentation.
  • Specification Interpretation: Read and understand technical specifications relating to lighting systems and ensure correct product selections.

  • Product Solutions: Recommend alternative products or configurations where appropriate to meet customer requirements, timelines, or budgets.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a vital link between the sales team, engineering, product management, logistics, and clients to ensure smooth communication and successful outcomes.

  • Accuracy & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all quotations, project details, and customer correspondence using CRM and ERP systems.

  • Enquiry Clarification: Ask relevant questions to clarify requirements and avoid errors, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service.

  • Learning & Development: Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of Glamox’s product range, systems, and industry practices. 

  • Process Improvement: Contribute ideas for improving workflows and enhancing customer experience and internal efficiency.


Desired Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent English and Maths GCSE grade C or above/equivalent

Personal Attributes:

  • Previous experience in internal sales, sales support, or customer service—ideally within a technical, electrical, or manufacturing environment 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM/ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous 

  • Organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently 

  • Curious mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn quickly
